Our founders are a couple of like-minded artisans who are passionate about beer, obsessive about the craft of brewing, and have a love for sharing their commitment to the craft with the community. We are excited to join Utah’s innovative craft beer lineup as a small brewery who’s focus will be to provide boldly crafted and distinctively modern, American-style ales in Utah.
We built out a small, immersive brewery and tasting room. The tasting room is a cozy "3rd space" designed to promote togetherness and simplicity. Think a welcoming farmhouse patio that happens to have a brewery in the garage. We will have a small retail area that will offer some swag and once we get our canning line, some canned beers to-go. Our space is as open as possible, as a way to safely share the brewing experience with you as you enjoy a pint or just want to come in and chat.
We craft modern American ales brewed with an uncompromising approach to quality, flavor, and drinkability. The beers you will find at our brewery are ales that have been developed and refined here in the US, and push the boundaries of current style guidelines. We focus on domestic ingredients supplied by fellow craftspeople and use the terroir of those ingredients to direct us.
Playground is unique beer, each batch we “play around” with new hops and/or hopping techniques. Always brewed as a hazy pale ale with new-school hops, you can count on Playground to be distinctive and crushable. Currently Playground #5, utilizes Eureka hop oil, and the experimental HBC586 in a cooled whirlpool to amplify hop flavor with minimal bitterness. Then we, very aggressively, dry hopped this batch with Lemondrop and Sultana hops for amplified tropical fruit and tangerine qualities.
An ode to our favorite cultural documentary, Ideocracy. Brawndo, it's what “beer drinkers” crave. A clean, simple blonde ale, that is crisp and refreshing for those who just want to crush a few pints. Brewed using one of our favorite Vienna style malts, for a hint of honey drizzled crusty toast. To complement that malt, we use the experimental hop 17701 for a pleasant profile that smells of Asian pear and ripe apricots.
War Pig is our take on a Cascadian dark ale. Definitely not quite a black IPA. This dark mama jama is more like an umptious dry stout that got rolled in the parking lot by a bitter IPA, leaving it dazed but somehow ready to live for the very first time. Brewed as a stout with a complex roasted malt profile then aggressively hopped with galaxy and lotus. This unique dark ale drinks like cold brew coffee and dark drinking coco with bitter hints of pine and blackberries.
To hell with pumpkin beer… Let’s talk cranberry sauce! Jelly Roll is a crisp, yet tart ale reminiscent of fresh-made cranberry sauce (the good stuff, not that canned blobby crap). Brewed with cranberries and a touch of tangerine and vanilla, Jelly Roll drinks outstandingly refreshing but hits you with nostalgic memories of yo mama's best sauce!
Harvest was brewed in collaboration with Table X restaurant, utilizing hops from their amazing garden. An old-school style pale ale that showcases a balance of rich malt and a classic NW hop profile. Super mellow and refreshing for an fall beer.
This cream ale is brewed with Vienna malt, flaked corn, toasted oats, a hint of lactose sugar, and a heaping pile of cinnamon toast crunch. Still a light and refreshing cream ale, Climax-Fall edition has a subtle spiced aroma, drinks exceptionally smooth and finishes with a welcome pop of vanilla and sweet rice.
